After spending 5 hours over Iran looking for President’s helicopter, Turkish drone drew the national flag

After helping Iran to find out President Raisi’s helicopter crash site, Turkish drone Bayraktar Akinci drew the Turkish national flap.

Sunday May 19, 2024, the helicopter of Iranian President gone missing. The Turkey was part of research sending a Bayraktar Akinci drone.

The operation started at 19.00 UTC when the drone was sent to North Iran as the President was back from a visit in Azerbaijan.

While flying between 10,000 and 15,000 ft, the hight altitude drone flew over 5 hours looking for the crash site.

On its way back to Turkey, the drone climbed to 30,000 ft altitude before drawing the Turkish national flag in the sky. An impressive communication operation from Turkey, after finding of the crash site.

The Bayraktar Akinci is a high-altitude long-endurance unmanned combat aerial vehicle being manufactured by the Turkish defence company Baykar.
