Lufthansa flight form Frankfurt to Bogota is declaring an emergency.
Lufthansa flight #LH542 departed Frankfurt today at 14:35 CEST for a 11 hour-flight to Bogota.
The aircraft stopped the climb at 25,000 ft and the crew declared an emergency (squawk 7700) over North of France, about 1 hour into the flight.
The flight is performed by an Airbus A340-300 (registration D-AIGN) which is over 26 years old.
Climbing again
The A340 is now resuming the climb, North of Paris.
Emergency cancelled
The crew switched to normal squawk and decided to resume the flight normally. The A340 climbed to 31,000 ft.
